Nice haul.

I enjoyed the list.

Ever consider setting up a YouTube channel?

My friend,

The Jesus in the manger is from Roman's Joseph's Studio, whose mission, "focuses on Renaissance inspired art. Joseph’s portrayal of Jesus, various Saints, Nativities, and garden angels is unique in style, highly respected, and sought-after."

It is not the actual historical Jesus for whom the artists at Joseph's Studio seek. It is the Jesus of Europe. I have an African American manger set, an Asian manger set, an African manger set, and multiple Near Eastern manger sets. They are all beautiful in their own way.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

Dear Brother,

I Greet you in the spirit of our Lord and Savior in whose Grace were are Blessed to abide.
I pray that as men celebrate the beginning of the year that you are reminded that life only begins upon the acceptance that he alone is the Way, the Truth and the Light. And if thus is done we shall never face death.

In his love I offer you this

Baby Jesus crying for the sinners, even as a baby we were making him cry. SO sad what that says about us as broken creations.

In Grace, forever yours

Owl,

Thank you for the dear wishes, and I pray you abide in the abundant grace of our Lord. I hope your message to all will be that of transforming, salvific grace. Let not your words give hint of anger unless it is anger against evil; let your images be pure and point to what is beautiful, not to lust.

I commend to you George Herbert (as in English, not Cajun, so there is no "ay" or "bear"). His poem "Perirrhanterium" is among the best poems of the English language. Of particular note for you, my friend, is stanza 12:

quote:

The cheapest sins most dearly punished are;
Because to shun them also is so cheap:
For we have wit to mark them, and to spare.
O crumble not away thy soul's fair heap.
If thou wilt die, the gates of hell are broad:
Pride and full sins have made the way a road.

Although the entire poem is beautiful, this stanza may help you more than the others. I wish you all the best.

Grace and peace,
TulaneLSU

P.S. I would never make videos. Videos are for the lazy for lazy consumption. There is no lasting power, no discipline is required to absorb it. The written word carries with it real power. There is a reason the Bible was written, not recorded on film.

Brother TulaneLSU,

The Lords Blessings upon you and all those that serve that him.

I received your most recent communication with an abundant heart I must admit that the distance between us at times seems great but full in the knowledge that upon him imminent return we shall dwell together in the house of the Lord my heart does find sweet releif.

The poetic words you shared from our British brethren did indeed fill my heart with joy. For that, he loves us so much that he gives us fair warning of the dire ways of sin does most indeed speak to his love.
The temptation of the body is most alarming. It hangs above us all like the ax in the hands of the Gallows Master of the noose in the hands of the hangman or the Hot dog's ages-old left on the rotations spinners at a Stuckeys along the highway of life.
In this spirit I share with you the words of another Master, whose name has unfortunately been lost to time but whos words and works live on in RestStops for the weary traveler across this land.

There was an old priest from Hastings,
Who talked about god and such things,
But his real desire,
Was a boy from the choir,
Who had an arse like jelly on springs

OH, woe to those that in their arrogance believe himself above sinful thoughts.
I pray that God continues to strengthen you as your words have strengthened me. I ad to my prayers lifted to the Heavens upon the wings of Angels that you and your household that all those that hear your wisdom have the hearts to receive your wisdom.

I only ask that God in his mercy do for me the same.

As always in his Grace forever your Brother
