I didn't even attend the general assembly where the speech for my graduation was given. I have no idea who the speaker was. At the engineering school graduation, the speech was given by a girl I was friends with.... and it was terrible (I actually felt a little bad being so freaking bored since I knew her). Know that Tulane is bringing it up, I feel like LSU screwed me over and owes me something.

My commencement speaker at Louisiana Tech was Mayor Dave Norris from West Monroe. He was actually pretty good and didn't drag it out too long.

I don't remember who spoke at my graduation. I don't know what that person said, and I barely remember the actual ceremony. Neither will these retards.

I'd want someone with a bit more credit ability than Hoda Kotb.
Is it a bit ridiculous that they are "demanding better"? Possibly. But I wouldn't be stoked about Kotb being there.

Seriously though, it's a little bit premature to say she has no credibility when we don't know the specifics of her speech. Maybe it's about perseverance and working hard to rise from an intern in a small market to co-host of a network morning show. Maybe it's about overcoming breast cancer and reconstructive surgery. Maybe she'll talk about being kind, friendly and charitable to everyone you meet.
I met her three times in N.O. and she was always friendly and funny. Having her as a speaker beats having some politician up there lying his arse off.

I graduated last year. Talking with my classmates now, we are surprised by how arrogantly the class below us is behaving.

Hoda Kotb probably has more New Orleans ties than any of the ungrateful little fricks in Tulane's 2016 class. They'll mostly move back to the Northwest and work for daddy or grandpa and never give this state a 2nd thought. frick them all. I hope she backs out and they get stuck with Karen Carter Peterson.
