I was just on a southwest flight and the pilot announced that masks were optional now. The whole plane cheered like their team just won the super bowl. People are sick of this shite

Are you going to wear a face shield? Viruses can enter through your eyes just as easily as any other location.

Update from the Seattle airport. Took a parking shuttle, checked in with delta agents, went through TSA, and have walked around the terminal with no mask on. Would say 75% of people are still wearing masks, not sure if it's because people don't know or if they're scared. Next up is the flight and I know I'm clear there.

Pretty much every major airline removed the mandate for customers AND employees within 6 hours of the ruling.

On a Delta flight out of MSY this morning. No mask for me in the airport or plane.
