Serious question..
Can Tylenol sue the government for baseless slander?
I mean... him announcing this will effect sales.

I saw some comments saying their doc had told them this back in the 90s, to not take Tylenol while pregnant. And something else saying don’t give it following a vaccine (like we were told to do) bc of some reaction. Who knows.

Made Leucovorin on label for the treatment of autism.
Which has only been shown to treat a subset of folks with ASD. Ones that we've found have lower folate levels in the brain.
Sadly, it sounds like they're pushing it as a cure and it's not that. And then we run the risk of shortage of leucovorin as a result of the press conference, which people who need it for other conditions (like during chemo).
TACA info on leucovorin

Sounds like quality medical research.

Surely something they can test for.

Make more.
Put ASD kids with confirmed lower folate levels on equal footing with other uses... Leucovorin isn't the only thing cancer patients get treated with.

But if you're loopy enough to take health advice from RFKjr, then that's the silent, ever-present hand of natural selection doing its thing.

Googled autism rates in the US.
1 in 36 children.
Another said 1 in 31 children.
WTH!!???

There is a pro tennis player ranked top 50 in the world that has “autism”
Not a single person had a clue until last year when he went public with it
I’m sorry but a modern day autism diagnosis means nothing in historical terms

quote:Being an American for the past decade has been the equivalent of being kidnapped and taken to an underground torture chamber where, with millions of other prisoners, you are handcuffed to a bench and forced to watch, read, and listen to every piece of media ever created about Kim Kardashian on a never-ending loop, only to have roughly half of the other captives look at you every day and say, "You know, I'm starting to think that she's actually really good at choosing romantic partners!"
It’s insane this man said this as president of our country

If true, something is very wrong. News to find out why. I also wonder if many are the wrong diagnosis. These days all one reads is if your kid isn’t doing “insert milestone,” by this age, it’s an autism risk sign. It’s insane. When my kids were young, it wasn’t like this.

I mean come on let's be fair 50 years ago they barely knew what autism was. Parents thought whipping kids who weren't "normal" was the answer until they all learned to hide it. If they weren't beat into submission then they thought hmm kids must be messed up for real.

The recent years have made me put less stock in "un-biased studies) than I did before. I don't completely distrust them, and I believe the people doing the research are good people, but I was shocked at how easily the results can be manipulated. Reminded me of the "massaged reports" I was tasked with creating when I worked in market research. The data is good...the interpretation is what is questionable.
That being said, I think we can all agree that Americans are addicted to OTC medications and we just assume they are safe because they are on a shelf. We take too much for every minor little ailment. So, I think any medication should not be allowed to advertise in any form of media and we should actively discourage (culturally) over reliance on any medication because something is objectively wrong with the health of the people of the richest nation in the world, and it damn sure isn't the availability of gyms or quality healthcare.
It isn't too much frickin Tylenol, either. Obesity, smoking and excessive drinking aren't caused by Tylenol, and neither is autism.

I told my doctor that I have hobbies that I participate in during my spare time and I was diagnosed with autism. His eyes lit up when I could recall dates of memorable lsu football games.
