I dont think liberals realize the effect their feel-good low emission standards have had on the poor Americans they claim to support. A lady working at walmart is going to struggle keep a paid-for modern car on the road. They are stuck with new cars with payments.

This has also been hurting the middle class. But its going to gut the working poor.

That would be awesome.
There is one that has been parked a couple of miles from me for a few years.
I loved the divorced transfer case design.

Trump is the king of trying to fix relatively niche things that maybe only a small group of people really care about but is very important to them. Hate or love him; that's an easy way to build loyalty.

Why would Trump approve or disapprove anything? If someone wants to import something and can work out the logistics and economics, it has nothing to do with Trump.

There are regulatory hurdles that can be done away with I believe that will make it easier.

These government standards have resulted in wildly expensive shitty cars now. It's a failure and as said before has made the middle class and poor, poorer.

Personally, I'm holding out for the LC76. Though I doubt we will see those for another 25yrs per the Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1966...

the ram 1000 sold in mexico is pretty neat looking and only about $25K

as was said, a cheap 4 x 4 for rural/deer lease stuff is a big need

Do they come in 4x4? Would be nice to have at hunting lease. Probably cheaper than a damn side by side

If this goes through I could see a $10-15k Mini truck having a huge impact on the ATV/UTV market.

Some SxS fetch $40k+

Great idea...

This is what he should be doing, busting regulations.

I’ve been wondering if I could order the parts have them shipped over here and then assemble the vehicle myself.

Great week for small trucks. Main reason why 90 percrent of new pickup trucks these days are 8 feet tall now and look like cartoons is because of fuel economy standards for pickup trucks.

Pretty much. Our own govt is the biggest enemy of innovation and affordability.

So Trump wants to import more cars from a foreign country and take away more jobs for Americans? Checks out.
