If by serious you mean I am not going to visit my 95 year old grandma except to drop off groceries so she doesn't have to get out, then yes.

If by serious you mean sitting at my window screaming at the kids that are out riding their bike in the neighborhood and posting passive aggressive notes on facebook about everyone needing to stay INSIDE their house, then no.
i'm taking it very seriously and i dont' say shite to anyone.

And done what?
did the shut down we face now, in early March, possibly ramping up to a quarantine
it sounds extreme but that, in hindsight, looks like what should have been done
he didn't do ANYthing until after St Patrick's Day. Cantrell as well. that week alone was likely a major cause of spread around the state

Every single one of my loved ones still in Louisiana, with whom I've been in contact, ARE following the isolation guidelines to the best of their abilities. They're all taking it very seriously.
If my family and friends are an indicator, Louisiana will starve this virus to death.

I know a guy that built a bar in his shop behind his house and has opened it for business in the last couple days...so I’d say false.
What's his address?
Asking for a friend.

I post an honest question and people are downvoting it like it's a bad april fool's day joke

Yeah, I don't know how you possibly sell that with the numbers they had at that point and with the rest of the country doing squat. I certainly don't know how JBE or Latoya would.

They did cancel the parades... but almost everyone still went out and partied anyway.

is this b/c it was more palatable to close down the entire state?
we didn't have large numbers when the first shut down order came through, either

my wife set up her mom's entire studio to online classes in one weekend. the hardest part: teaching her mom how to use the app

Well...it involves science, so that automatically means 45-55% of Louisianians don't believe it exists.
I would say that means that 80+% of Americans are incapable of understanding it at a competent level.

it's not even that big, public aspect. they knew, hell we knew, it was about to explode in Nola. even just that week would have helped out the rest of the state, but they wouldn't pull the trigger, knowing spread would be going everywhere. not for parades, but M-F type stuff

I don't think so. Most people are too stupid to realize or understand the implications

National urgency had built up by that point.

From a political standpoint, probably. I'm not saying it's good that that has to be driving this, but it's still reality.

I'm not sure, hell it might have been that one. Last time I asked him was over a week ago. Things may have changed.
Posted on 4/1/20 at 2:48 pm to LSU Fan 90812
I think the majority of people are taking this seriously
Posted on 4/1/20 at 2:49 pm to Salmon
i feel like the better question is can you define "average"?
