Yep, authoritarians are just afraid "the other side" will do to them, what they want to do to the others.

Indoctrination should never be allowed. it should be a fireable offense regardless of sides.
I had college instructors who would harshly graded work that shed light on a non leftist position.

I think that's the thing that's most scary to me. The whole point of higher education should be and used to be about debate and sharing and dissecting opinions. But we're at the point where non progressive views and people are silenced and shouted down. I'm pretty sure that's a main tenet of fascism.
