Earlier this week he was on live television at some political hearing comparing the protestors and the conservative politicians supporting them to Nazis. No exaggeration.
One of the conservative politicians he accused of that was of Jewish descent and his grandparents survived the Holocaust before moving to Canada.
He scolded his arse immediately afterwards and forced him to apologize to him and his colleagues.

Trudeau is out of touch to say the least and this is a desperate last grasp of maintaining the authoritarian “emergency powers” he wielded during COVID. He deserves everything he gets.
also notice how he suddenly refers to protests as “illegal”. since when?

To clarify, i’m not saying i believe or buy some greater motive/agenda/conspiracy, nor do i consume any media that pushes such.
BUT, to answer your question - if that were to ever happen, i would imagine it would come via “emergency act” given to the government over some hapless non specific crisis like “climate change” or “racism”.
Hell, who’d of ever thought that the Canadian government would enable banks to freeze the bank accounts and crypto wallets of those participating and even donating. I think it’s done so under a “terrorism” act. Which is disgusting considering the reality of the protests.

Has it been pointed out in this thread that the woman did not die and was not even trampled? She got knocked down and hurt her shoulder.

sometimes posters should certainly wait to get some more details. Would you say the media at times has this same problem of jumping onto stories with little detail?
Also, regardless of the outcome of this situation do you blanket excuse the heavy handed actions being taken against the protestors?
