Feels like I am missing 2 cylinders. Otherwise, I don't notice a thing.

I have a super crew F150 with a V6. It's the dreaded ecoboost. No issues. It hauls arse and I don't really tow much to speak of. I just need something to haul my 4 wheeler and other random shite.

I've only had it for a year though.

Fast and love sound of the turbo. Have not pulled with it yet.
Avg about 20.3 mpg hwy mileage.

They are fine.

Just like Volvo putting in turbo 4s spitting 300 HP. It will dust their old 6s probably.

2014 F150 4x4 Supercrew with 52k miles and zero engine problems.

Plenty of power to tow my boat and I average 17.5 MPG hwy/city.

Only complaint is 11 MPG when towing my boat.

I've never heard anyone say they love the turbo sound. I came from a 5.7 Ram Hemi. I do miss the V8 sound but otherwise the engine is enough for me. I've averaged about 19.1 in mine. Probably 85% city driving though.

Dodge and GM are beating that with V8s. Ford is putting down good power with them, but not really any advantage from a fuel mileage standpoint.

How much hp and torque?

I've got 365 hp and 420 ft/lbs. with the 2014 Ecoboost.

Chevy is going with a turbo 4 cylinder in the 2019s. At least as the base engine. It will be interesting to see how that one performs.

I'd get a V8 if I drove mine for 150k+ miles. I usually trade mine in after 85k or so. I only drive about 8-9k per year.

The Toyota Taco is one of the most underpowered trucks I have ever driven.

Reliable as can be and holds their value like no other, but severely underpowered.

I have a 2017 super crew F150 with the 2.7 Ecoboost. It feels as quick as my previous 5.7 Ram did to me. Other than the sound I don't notice much difference

I'll be staying far away from that.

Honestly one of the biggest things they have going is the reliability reputation of the LS motors.

I drive a 2011 2 wheel drive, F 150 EcoBoost w/ almost 150,000 miles.
Have not had any engine problems.
Rarely tow anything and then it is just a riding lawnmower.

I think the avg miles/gal is over 17 but I get 20-22 on the highway depending on how fast I’m driving.

I had to replace the front wheel bearings at about 145,000 miles. Other than that just oil changes and break work.
