I used to do this by ceba. I'd park, open the rear hatch of the suv, toss the cable in, and close the hatch.

In college I had a jacked up 94 chevrolet that was pretty much a big arse redneck caddillac. I couldnt find anywhere to park so I put it in the electric car charging spot by CEBA and stuck the charging cord in the gas cap. No ticket, still got a picture somewhere

Really? The pump serves both gasoline and diesel (so it isn't just a diesel pump). How many hours do you have to wait to fuel up?
Now, if they parked the minivan for 2 hours at the pump while they went inside, shopped and ate lunch (while there were available parking spots in front of the convenience store)...that would be the same.

I used to have a diesel. That really is a freakin epidemic. The diesel pumps are usually on the ends so you have more room and theres always some fat bitch blocking it while shes inside buying a 68oz coke

If you want to magic wand a better battery then go for it.
