Oh, they can do what they want, doesn’t mean people won’t make fun of them though.

Those stupid hillabillies don't like change. I bet they are real pissed that these 'tesla' folks are going to take their sisters away from them, and prevent them from inbreeding. No wonder why they are so pissed.

Now they know how it feels when some soccer mom is filling up her minivan at the diesel pump
This. Some lady got in my face when I pulled into the only available diesel pump in an otherwise empty gas station. Apparently I was supposed to notice that she was sitting in her minivan at a bagged off pump waiting for the diesel/gas one to come open when I rudely swooped in in an F350 and took it.

Tesla’s are simply less practical than conventional vehicles, and as long as that’s true, they’ll be a toy.

Tesla does not own those parking spots. Anybody can park there.
I don’t know which is more funny. Trucks parking there as a joke or the snowflakes melting in this thread.
This is not true.
In most cases, Tesla has paid or is renting the spots.
Many instances of non-EV cars getting towed. All based on the location.
You think that a bunch of trucks blocking the charging stations is a joke? It is not a joke, it is a pure dick move based solely on jealousy.
Would you think it funny to pull up to a gas station with all the spots filled with Tesla's?
Moron.

Another poster talking with no knowledge. How is it less practical? I get almost 350 miles per charge, more then about 50% of all cars on the road.

Sound like a bunch of douches

I mean usually I'm pro truck over electric cars..but this just seems like people being assholes for no reason

And what are your recharge times? Where are you getting your energy from? How efficient is your car; when you consider the energy source, and the transmission losses. And how green is it? If you consider production costs, and the type of energy. How does that compare to the environmental impact of driving a used car?
Electric motors are great, but the battery paradigm is a dead end.
For example, it’s going to be -14 here next week. My math, that’s probably a 50% reduction in range. And that means you can’t really go anywhere, because of the range involved.
But let’s say you could. It’s a potentially deadly risk, because if you run out to juice, you’re probably freezing to death in your car.

Somehow I don't imagine tesla drivers taking the time to go block gas pumps
Doubt it's on their to do list

I'd bet the hickhop was blaring on the bazooka tubes

Would you expect anything different from low IQ, insecure men who drive trucks like that? They think they own the road and that everyone is amazed by them and their jacked up trucks.
Stupid, ignorant bastards

A dickhead for pulling up in a diesel truck and taking the only open diesel pump?
She was so offended that I didn't hang up the pump and move. It's a running joke that minivans always take the diesel pump when there's gas pumps open, but I'd never seen a minivan waiting in line for the diesel pump with 8 open gas pumps. That's taking stupid to a new level.
