I don't think the murder rate for geriatric old white dudes are quite on the same level as ghetto hoodlums. If so, the assisted living and nursing homes would rival inner city Chicago crime rates.

You don’t deserve to be shot for something like that but it isn’t shocking to hear the type of person who would spray a hose in his neighbors truck would end up getting shot

Lee was watering a new palm tree and the neighbor was backing out of his driveway. Lee sprayed his truck w/ the hose. Neighbor rolls down his window, exchanged words, and Lee sprays water into the truck. Neighbor gets out, they exchange more words. Neighbor produces handgun and shoots Lee once in the chest. Lee runs to side of his house, collapses and dies.
There's surveillance video of the whole incident. No audio. Apparently Lee and the neighbor have been arguing almost constantly for about ten years.

If the two of them have in fact been feuding for years, multiple police reports, eyewitnesses that are willing to walk all over the dead guy (Lee), the old man might have a chance. What if (attorney talking to jurors) your elderly father was put through this for years, could you consider it an over reaction or the breaking point of a long and drawn out situation. Kind of like years of spousal abuse. Women killing abusive husbands get off from time to time. I'll say it, old man goes to trial and is found not guilty!!

Word spread pretty quickly. People at Autozone were talking about it, and everyone at Dorignac's was talking about it.
I saw two young (under 12), and one older (maybe early 20s) kids out washing the F250 with him Thursday. Are those his kids/grandkids?

The fact is: Lee had a hose and the neighbor pulled a gun. I don't know any jury that would be convinced that was self defense.
