Got some buddies in Matagorda, things are getting real there. Surge has water in the bottom floors along the river and it's blowing its arse off.

The good news is that as it slows down the shear relocates its head from its arse. It blows out the precip to the East.

There’s not even the orange hurricane wind field on the map. This thing definitely isn’t a legit hurricane.

Live link. Texas Storm Chasers just posted it made it to Cat 1 just prior to hitting Matagorda. No idea where they came up with that.
