Looks to be a low threat of development for now:

quote:

Tropical Weather Outlook
NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL
800 AM EDT Sun Jul 19 2020

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

1. A tropical wave located over Hispaniola and the adjacent waters of the southwestern Atlantic is expected to move west-northwestward
over the next several days and enter the southeastern Gulf of Mexico by late Tuesday, and then move across the central Gulf on
Wednesday and reach the northwestern Gulf on Thursday. This disturbance is currently producing disorganized shower activity, but environmental conditions are expected to become at least
marginally conducive for development by Wednesday or Thursday.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.

I'd settle for a nice heat breaker, rain maker

Can hang a right - just to the west of the I35 corridor and run north by northwest

Really? It has a 20% of forming and even if it does it’ll barely be a TS before it goes into Texas

Nah, we WANT him in this thread. He thinks it's going to be a big deal.

We need him to stay out when he thinks it's a nothingburger.

I have a bad feeling about this one.

The water in the gulf perfect for this thing to develop into a monster cane.

Headed to rouses now for 2 cases of water and strawberry pop tarts and canned food.

I’m warning you all-Do not mess around with this one

In reality this means it will actually go to Antarctica.
