Is that an ankle I see??? And ORANGE shoes? That's WAY too provocative.
Time for a good ole fashion caning, Michael P Fay style.

No PeeJ but the water normally gets much warmer than what it is now.
It’s actually below average right now if you look at the averages.

No it’s not.... the water temps are just like they should be at this time of year. Do some research to prove me wrong......

It’s actually below average right now if you look at the averages.
Sea surface temperatures are generally 85°F+ across most of the Gulf
This doesn’t mean this system will develop, as more goes into it than just water temps.

We were discussing where this track was heading and temps are below 85 degrees today that was my point.
They’ll climb to above 85 in the next few weeks and into August.

What I posted are current anomalies, not future anomalies. The second image are current sea surface temps. As you can see, much of the Gulf is at 30°C, which is 86°F.

Water temps along this track are below 85.
Again that was my point.
PeeJ said “ The water is very very warm where that thing is headed....”
That’s just not accurate
Waters are normal if not a little below normal “where that thing is headed” for this time of year
His comment wasn’t really necessary
I’m not trying to say you’re wrong with your charts, I’m just saying PeeJ is stupid

Temps across most of the Gulf and Caribbean (see the second image in my above post) are at 29-30°C, which is 85-86°F.

Never fails when I take a trip to Florida.

Might wanna check again buddy
Do you see the actual temps and the averages?
LINK
And my point still stands, the water temps are at best average, PeeJ said they were “very very warm” which is a dumb thing to say
