Problem with that setup is that you'd have Lake Pontchartrain once again testing the Intercoastal Canals Levey system for a lengthy period of time.

This is cliche and on the bingo card but can any weather expert weigh in on someone who is supposed to fly out of Key West on Saturday the 3rd?

The local forecast is currently saying the rain isn’t supposed to come until Sunday.

This is all bamafig's fault from about a week ago.

Lifetime ban, only to be reduced with a day of public service chainsawing in the gulf coast humidity with no AC.

Hes on the hook for whatever happens from here on out IMO.

Which one...not many casinos still have buffets.

The Palace, the Beau, and Treasure Bay are the only ones that still have buffets in Biloxi. The Hard Rock will only do theirs a for special occasions.

Further west, Island View, Hollywood, and Silver Slippa have buffets to draw that Louisiana fatty crowd.

Does the last GFS run have it going into the big bend before making second landfall around Jax?

Stop making plans based on model runs of a system that doesn't have an official center yet.

Edited to add for HoldThatTiger10 that even though I apparently sound super duper smart in weather threads, I am in fact NOT a professional.

Let me be more specific.

Plans have been made for a while. I need to gauge what I need to do if anything prep-wise around the house before I leave, because I am going to be away from home and scheduled to return in the potential middle of shite.

Love how the GFS has it sit off the panhandle as a small storm and then when it puts it in reverse it blows up like a new bride with a thyroid disorder waddling toward Biloxi.
