This is rubbish. No way it goes west of Lafayette. This is an Eastern Gulf Coast/Atlantic problem.

GFS is all alone on it's crazy Gulf scenerio. SO it will either look like a genius or look like me batting against Paul Skenes.

Still a South Carolina storm.

So the high pressure that’s currently over Texas moves east. Euro has it pushing this out to a fish storm and GFS has doomer wet dream stall?

It all comes down to where the vorticity is consolidated. If it starts to organize more North of DR/Haiti then that should end the possibility of the shift towards the Gulf. If it organizes farther south where it interacts more with Hispaniola and Cuba the terrain will play a part in consolidating the vorticity farther South, opening up a better window for a westward track. The GFS is, and has been, favoring the latter.
If it were to get into the Gulf steering seems to break down a bit leading to it drifting which could give it more time over water.

I think it’s time Alabama or Mississppi gets some. Us here in SELA done had enough fun for a while.
Storm needs to go find that dumbass that started that no hurricane thread the other day!

I think more of east coast, like NE coast….. as far away from the gulf as possible……
