Pretty sure the center of circulation is passing over us in the GOM (SS207 block). Just had sunshine for about 20 minutes and now another band to our south coming through. Waiting for the wind to change direction.

Anyone have thoughts on what will be best and worst times to be driving between Lake Charles and BR on I-10 over next ~18 hrs?

Looks like NOLA metro could get some heavy rains starting around 8:30PM until around midnight. Starting to get pretty gusty around here right now.
