Baws, I have a legit question for y'all. I get off of work at 1430 on Friday and I can get to the boat launch at 1630. Will I have time to catch me a quick limit of shrimp in PI before it starts raining, or will I die by lightning this Friday?

Let me know so I can either buy ice or more life insurance.

Interesting short term trend in the GEFS toward more backed 200mb flow over 92L on Friday. Could allow for a more organized cyclone, though still likely broad and messy. Heavy rains coming for north gulf coast late in the week. LINK

In this party, the man with the bread is king... And I have the breads.

Also, which beast?

12z GFS 24Hr Accumulated Rainfall through the 22nd. Shifts landfall farther West and brings decent rain to most of LA. Then, hooks it East over Southern MS and AL, farther South than previous runs.

When do you think we will have a clear idea of what this will look like and where it will go?

That would go along with what Levi said earlier.

Duke, ok I'll bite at that since you brought it up.

Crop is pretty and we can now buy hurricane insurance for the crop while it's IN the field .. more than just crop insurance and produce policy while in the bins.

I have zero worries whatsoever!!!!!
