Thank you. I didn’t have that graphic but swore I saw this son of a bitch as a rain maker.

ETA: I want none of this freaking rain.

But, I know we'll be in for a dry spell at some point this summer and will need rain then

I recognize you're right on some level, and I'm not attacking you so please forgive me for what I'm about to say.

But living in Louisiana, I hate when people say "we need the rain" at any point. Because once it starts raining in Louisiana, it usually doesn't stop for at least 4 or 5 days. I just hate that saying.

The NHC NOAA has been in complete disarray. Their main model has been dismal on predictions on offshore weather last three years

What, in your opinion, is the NHC's "main model"?

And to say that you prefer SeaCast over NOAA and the NWS doesn't say what you think it says about your preferences. Just on the "Features" tab of their main page there is this:

quote:

We cover all the bases for your weather needs offshore with NWS Coastal and Offshore Forecasts including every forecast zone along with the North American Mesoscale Forecast System (NAM), Global Forecast System (GFS), NOAA WatchWatch III and of coarse ReefCast. You can go through and look at all the MAJOR weather models in just a few mintues with our easy to use interface.

This:
quote:

Sea Surface Temperature X3 in a zoomable. clickable interface. We feature AVHRR Satellite data, Modis Satellite Data and modeled Sea Surface Temperature for complete cloud free coverage. 5 degree, 1 degree and .5 degree contours based on zoom level with multiple color ramps to help you find the fish and save fuel on every trip.

This which is a NOAA product from NOAA maintained and operated equipment:
quote:

Every Primary and Secondary Tide station in the US. Click the map and it will chose the tide station closest to your location. It shows Tide times, Tide Graph, Sun Up and Sun Day to make planning your trip a breeze.

This:
quote:

WaveCast is a visualization tool for displaying the WaveWatch III weather model from NOAA. This is a great weather overview of what to expect in the coming days.

And probably other products that are derived from NOAA/NWS data, models, and weather instruments.

Without the NWS, multiple NOAA offices, and "Every Major Model", SeaCast literally could not exist.

I don't need rain every day, even if it's a short afternoon thunderstorm.

I would like to book a 7pm evening shower every day that lasts about a half an hour.

It knocks out the heat while at the same time doesn’t allow enough time for the sun to get things cooking again.

It sucks arse when it rains and then the sun comes out to ruin life for awhile. It is almost like you could bake bread outside at that point.

frick being “throw up hot!”

On the 850mb Vort. it doesn't look it's best until it is over Tupelo.

But east or wear of me will make a big difference for our project we’re working on.

I did tell my husband priority 1 is to check the generator.
