I'm so confused on if this is going to be mass flooding like a smaller aug flood or just 4 inches of rain over 3 days. People freaking out are making me concerned.

If the current forecast track holds true, the heaviest rainfall would be from New Orleans east, along the AL, MS, and FL Panhandle Gulf Coasts.

I think it's a reaction based on the previous devastating flood. That was 20+ inches in some of the harder hit areas.

Shellshock from August.

It's very unlikely to see widespread 20"+ rain totals in two days from this thing.
