I always felt Popeyes were better until I learned this. Now they're neck and neck. I usually will just go to whichever one I happen to be craving that day. But yes, Louisiana chicken >>> anything else.

They taste pretty close to the same for me, just depends on how much seasoning was put on that batch. All the Guthrie and Guthrie ripoff chains like Zaxby's and Cane's taste very similar.

Popeyes doesn’t sell chicken tenders. They sell chicken strips. And they are terrible.

To be fair, your odds of getting hepatitis have to be lower at canes than Popeyes. Maybe that played a factor

No love for Bojangles on the list at all. Their chicken tenders is better than Popeyes.

Agreed. Since we agree to that, next time you take I49, stop in opelousas at momas fried chicken. They have two locations, but go to the one by the movie theater. It's not as spicy as Popeyes spicy because they don't offer a choice, but damn it's good. Good red beans too.

Cane's has the goat sweet tea. Over the years their tenders have gotten smaller, but so is business.

Southern Classic...specifically the location in Mansfield, is the best fried chicken I have ever eaten and it’s honestly not close.

I prefer CFA over either Canes or Popeyes tenders but Elsie's has the best in BR imo.
