Tried to go do some normal shopping at Sam's

Idiocracy is real.
The cashier said they have had arguments over TP and are 100% out. They have a shipment arriving tomorrow and will have extra staff as security on hand.

The bread aisle was bare, water was almost gone, they were out of other paper products including tissue and there were large gatherings at the soap.
Flu medicine and vitamins that help support your immune system oddly seemed untouched.
The Asian food section was full unlike everything around it so I snagged some Bao for lunch tomorrow.
I told my wife we are doing the shop online and pick up until this crap is over.
The cashier said they have had arguments over TP and are 100% out. They have a shipment arriving tomorrow and will have extra staff as security on hand.

Yea I agree and was trying to do the same thing and have been putting it off but couldn't any longer as we were low on some things we needed.

I just bought a 6 pack mega roll of Charmin soft because I legit needed toilet paper a couple of days ago. Looks like I just snuck in under the wire before they got cleared out.
By the time I run out, either this will be over or a few million people will have died and I can just loot their houses for any toilet paper they left behind.

People need to realize that you just need to live your life normally. There’s a good chance that many of us have had interactions with someone who has the virus. We may have the virus ourselves and everything is fine.
If you feel sick, stay home. I understand avoiding mass groupings at the moment but the hysteria has to stop or it’s going to cause some real damage. If you’re an average person and have the corona virus the odds of you actually dying from it are so small.
We’re on our way to panicking ourselves into deep shite.
