Do people think our water supply is going to be contaminated? I saw some guy in Trader Joe's buying 4-5 cases of water today.

Did you go out shopping just so you can bitch about other people? If so, I can introduce you to my Dad who is an angry old prick too.

No and when we walked in and saw the chaos I was going to leave and go back in the morning while people are at work but my wife urged me just to get what we needed. I made the mistake of waiting until the evening when people are getting off of work.

I did have a nice convo with a pissed of old man, though. He was steady cussing about the morons.

I buy that much when I go but all I drink is flavored water and nothing else. I stock up every few weeks. I did so today and I am sure it looked like I was panic buying water.

At the very least, one of our illustrious elected officials or some medical professional needs to get on the news and tell everybody that this is not really a gastrointestinal issue so nobody is going to shite themselves to death from this.

As of a couple of days ago, shelves were noticeably lighter but far from bare at the local supermarket and CVS.

The only exception was the Wal-Mart neighborhood store, which was kind of funny, considering their supposedly awesome logistics and distribution network.

Yea I agree and was trying to do the same thing and have been putting it off but couldn't any longer as we were low on some things we needed.

I went into a Walmart Neighborhood Market for the first time on Sunday evening. It was on the way to get something to eat and I needed milk.

All I got was the milk and some Reese's eggs. But I walked around and checked the store out. For one because it was the first time I had been in one and two to check and see if the hoarders had struck.

They had water, toilet paper and hand sanitizer. I don't know if it was because they were limiting how much people could buy, but they weren't out of any of the things people are scooping up.

BUT sometimes I think there are more store than people around here. Walmart Supercenter, 3 Krogers, 2 HEB's, Randalls, Sprouts, ALDI, Fiesta, Food Town all within 2 or 3 miles of the house.

That's not including the Walgreens and CVS on every corner or the Walmart Market and smaller grocery stores like the Himalaya, Vietnamese and other oriental and Halal markets.
