This is the worst year I’ve had in over a decade. 1/3 of the usual partakers. Probably donate most of candy to church youth and rest for stocking stuffers.

We had more this year than last, but that's expected I guess. We probably had 20 kids total. People spent a lot of money and time on costumes, including the parents.

Kids are too lazy now to actually walk around for candy

They get candy all the time, its not a treat anymore

Would rather play Nintendo Switch or make a fiya tiktok

My neighborhood was packed. My kid got the most candy he has ever gotten before. Several homes with shots/drinks for the adults as well.

I live in SC and we have been open for about a year now as far as masks and Covid protocols.

I've lived at this farm in Oklahoma for 6 years and never had one. We don't even decorate anymore.

But we always build a bonfire and have fun outside. Beer and whiskey if you drink. Weed if you partake. Pot of chili and it's a good time.

Seemed like the parents spent as much time on costumes as the kids.

I just watched a bunch of sophomores on high school steal the tub of candy my neighbors put out. Kind of old for trick or treating…..

Our neighborhood was absolutely poppin’! Gave a nice nostalgic Americana feeling. I held down the house while wife took kids out. Over 100 kids came by and it was probably closer to 150

It’s their parents that are too lazy, and/or are sitting around on a Nintendo diddling their B holes.

We had less than normal but a good crowd. My wife handed out candy and I grilled burgers and had a few beers in the backyard.

It's a Sunday, the World Series is on, and people do a lot more trunk or treat type events now.

But I did hear that my neighborhood was busier tonight than in past years (I'm out of town). It's hard to predict.

Probably had 5-600 children tonight. We live in a reasonably nice neighborhood and families come here from all over north Mobile county. I enjoy it a lot. There are 10-15 of the usual older kids with no costume who don’t say anything but the hundreds of little bitty kids in cute costumes make up for it.
