He'll be 35 with a murder conviction and maybe not even a high school diploma. I can't imagine the rest of his life will be enviable unless he truly becomes good, which is also a positive outcome in the grander scheme.

Lol Karmelo is not going to have a family or a midlife. At best, he gets out in 17-20 years, gets into a fight over some "disrespek" at a Circle K and gets ventilated by someone from his community. He has no future.

I don’t know what was going on behind the scenes, but man does it look like his attorney fricked him.
I’m not saying it wasn’t the right verdict, but I think I could have gotten a lighter sentence than that.
