I bet he gets 10 years.
I hope I'm wrong.
I hope I'm wrong.

This case is too cut and dry. They don't want to dig it up further, IMO.
I was just making a joke about federal district court judges in DC overreaching.

2 to 20 years for ending the life of another person is fricking stupid

I know, but even they won't want to do it here

If his sentence is that short, he will commit murder again before January 1, 2036.

being Texas they'll probably give him life with a chance of parole after 30

Nah. I was a kid when OJ happened.
It really depends on if you have money or not when it comes to the courts.
And no one riots in the streets when White people get railroaded, so you just have a false sense of it happening to blacks more.
This current bricks and minifigs shite show shows white people without connections getting railroaded by cops.

It is unreal the state is ok with that.

That's what OT Moderates and Progressives hope and vote for, and when he does, if the same subhumans that are in this thread are still around, they will be back to let you know how racist you were for noticing.

Well, the state just said they're good with 2 to 20 to the jury.

The claims of the house and the car were proved to be internet rumor. Snopes clarified.
And for those who don't like snopes, it was confirmed false by multiple other outlets.

I think since he’s a native of Louisiana, he should serve his sentence at Angola

I disagree.
I think the jury was convinced very quickly it was murder and, thus, didn't need to waste much time debating that. However, the sentencing is where they will make sympathetic "compromise" in that they won't punish a teenager who has no significant prior record to the harshest of sentences.

I believe that white Americans face a different reality when it comes to being innocent victims of violent crime than ghetto blacks.

How long before a federal district court judge in DC decides inexplicably to intervene and overturn this state court jury verdict?
I don’t think they could.
Murder/mansluaghter are state beefs not federal.

That's what I think they'll do, as well.

Joke being that certain district judges have butted into all kinds of shite outside their jurisdiction because they got their fee fees hurt.
