The family was confident and gloating behind closed doors, certain that he’d be acquitted. Yesterday was somewhat of a wake up call as they were informed that there’s a possibility that he might have to serve time. I think they’re expecting manslaughter but any amount of time at all was more than they were expecting. I also imagine that the Aryan Brotherhood will have a bullseye on his arse for killing a white boy

This is one of my favoritely retarded leftist talking points and they apply it all the time. No uterus, no opinion. You're white, you'll never understand. The list goes on and on. It's always great to see the look on their face when that logical is applied to it natural conclusion though.

Never drove drunk, can't judge a drunk driver.
Never been to war, can't oppose a war.
Never been a cop, can't judge a shooting.
Never paid taxes, can't have an opinion on tax policy.

It would be unbelievable trolling if the Metcalf family civilly sued for the 690k that was venmo'd to the fam.

Manslaughter shouldn’t be an option, the thug could be out in 2 years if I read correctly. The max of 20 isn’t even long enough as he’d still be young. I’m really hoping this jury does the right thing.

It is dumbfounding to me how many "GiveSendGo" donations are being made to Karmelo Anthony's fund just in the past 3 hours.

It is up to $626k.

But lawyers’ words are not evidence. And to the jurors tasked with assessing evidence, race may be a relevant consideration— one that shapes how people understand their experiences and interpret the motivations of others. In this particular trial, defense counsel has argued that in a “split second of fear and chaos,” Anthony acted to defend himself. The jury’s assessment of Anthony’s potential self-defense claim will turn not only on his subjective perception, but on the objective reasonableness of his actions.

Of course, the “reasonable person” is a legal fiction — a figure reimagined in each trial by the laypeople of the jury. Because this figure reflects the idiosyncrasies and biases (including those pertaining to race) of the jury, it matters who is empaneled. The reasonable person is not the same or even similar for every juror. In the Anthony trial, the situation is particularly stark: a jury without a single Black juror will determine what constitutes an objective standard for reasonableness — one that should apply to a Black teenager — based on their personal experiences and beliefs.

This professor is WAYYYY overthinking this.

Facts:

1. Karmelo brought a knife the track meet
2. Karmelo was not welcomed in the tent and was asked to leave over 10 times
3. When Austin told him to leave, again, Karmelo, instead of leaving the space he was not welcomed and asked to leave, opened a blade and hid it from sight
4. Karmelo told Austin to touch him and find out
5. Austin shoved Karmelo
6. Karmelo responded to the shove and used the pre-opened, hidden knife to stab Austin hard enough in the chest directly at his heart that it broke his breast plate and pierced his heart, killing him.

That is just plain murder. There is no gray area to me. If he gets something like 2-5 years, it is a travesty of justice. Professor needs to forget race and just look at the facts.

The family is doing all of this to milk donations. I promise you on numerous occasions that their attorney told them that they had a tough case.

They didn't give a frick, because either way they get what they want. If he's convicted they can continue to get donations from idiots

Yeah...I don't want her to get hurt.

But maybe robbed at gun point by a youth and scared to her senses.

This implies thinking, which is quite an assumption in this instance.

Racism thru lower expectations and only blacks can judge or criticize other blacks is always strong in the AWFLs / Affluent White Female Leftists.

Mind you white people are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more diverse in both voting patterns and jury patterns.

92% of black women voted Democrat nationwide. You’d have to go to a white Christian country club in the hills of North Alabama to Maybe find the inverse of that

They, along with the progressive left, will turn KA into a hero within a few years. Mark my words. He will be on talk shows discussing how virtuous he was for killing a white kid. People like Kamala Harris (who promoted Jussie Smollette) and others will soon have his back.

This is all so predictable.

Some of the father’s text messages to a reporter lady were leaked a while back. Let’s just say that it’s no surprise how his son ended up the way he did.

Not sure if the Aryans are strong enough to get him in Huntsville but I bet he joins the Muslims because he doesn’t want to find out.
