The defense sucks. Period. It would be a major victory for KA if he got off with a manslaughter conviction but this defense is grasping at straws. Prosecutor is going to go in dry.

There is really no other argument. It's not disputed that Anthony stabbed Metcalf and that Metcalf died as a result of the injury caused by the stabbing. The only potential defense is that Anthony stabbed Metcalf in self defense because Anthony had a reasonable fear of Metcalf causing him great bodily harm. Based upon what has been reported that defense seems tenuous, at best. But that is the only defense to the action that can be raised in hopes of a not guilty verdict.

I couldn’t do it. Takes a different type of person to do that.
The better ones also focus their case not on the client or their innocence but on ensuring the State meets its burden. Or at least that’s how they mentally convince themselves to do it.

I’d say 1 isn’t an option with 2 out there considering he admitted stabbing him.
It’s a question of 2 or 3 and then sentencing.
