I wouldn't ask you to leave my tailgate.

AMetcalf moved KA's backpack and pushed him, trying to force him out of the tent. I am pretty confident that his coach wouldn't have approved of this behavior as well as KA's and would have intervened. I have said in other posts that there should be an adult chaperone with the team if the coach is doing other things.

Stabbing wasn't the answer. Neither was how AM handled it. Don't frick with people's stuff and don't put your hands on anyone without their consent.

Wrong any way you look at it

Are you seriously trying to equate stabbing someone in the chest with a push? What’s wrong with you?

A teenage shoving match with someone invading your space is a massive nothing burger as long as one of them didn't show up with a deadly weapon and looking for a confrontation.

To both sides this case is the epitomy of ignorance.

heard from 2 former neighbors with kids in same HS and grade as Anthony that Anthony showed off a knife he brought to school more than once. He even told some classmates he could get away with murder at Centennial.

Good thing hearsay isn't allowed into evidence.

To whoever asked, I have been following CBS Texas and some other media.

This is the equivalent of blaming rape victims because they wore skimpy outfits.

Civilized teenagers on the same team don't really NEED an adult chaperone... this wasn't "da club", it was a safe space until KA brought a knife and violated HS sports norms.

Another uninformed post. You’re on a roll.

There have been millions of varsity and junior varsity athletes across this country who have spent time in locker rooms, track tents, and between games or events without direct adult supervision and somehow managed not to kill one another.

From the time I hit middle school, I spent almost every day after school in a locker room, in the bleachers, under the bleachers, film room, etc unsupervised. Never once did I see anyone get seriously hurt much less murdered.

This is the equivalent to Leftists and politicians blaming the lack of gun control or knife control for urban violence.

The lack of adult supervision isn’t the problem, and you know it. The problem is a lack of impulse control among a certain demographic. Stop pretending otherwise.

It is obvious that the coach shouldn't have put a 17 y.o. kid in charge of other 17 y.o. and younger kids.

I coach baseball 16U and put 15 y.o. in charge of the team all the time. It’s how they learn to be leaders and men. Only someone defending a murderer would see that as a problem.

Racist much?

Most high school boys are immature. (I should know, I dated/hung out with enough of them.)

Proven fact that male brains mature slower than their female counterparts. Pull out your AMA Journals and research adolescent male behavior. It isn't skin color specific.

And why didn't you go to public schools in Orleans and Jefferson? Because they're shite and dangerous, like EBR, which was the purpose of the comparison.

Are they black?
Because this is an anecdote and completely useless as evidence and is statistically meaningless.
Anyway, black females, because of the lack of black men in their family lives, have infantilized black male children, hence the lack of impulse control.
So, suck it.
