Witness testimony today blows that thought out of the water.

Seriously his only prayer at this point is that one juror whose guilt will not let them convict a black man and they snuck it past the prosecution at selection...then somehow the prosecution decides to not pursue the worst charges afterwards for...reasons.

Neither of which seem likely.

Only if they can find a juror that doesn’t understand the law.

Their only hope from the start was to find some white guilt liberal to hang the jury. It’s why his lawyers and family have taken the race angle from the moments after he killed Austin.

I also like how his trash family raised what $600k and he has a public defender

Witness testimony says otherwise

Regardless it' illegal to possess a weapon at a school campus/school event

Hate to burst your bubble, but Zimmerman was exponentially more self defense than this case.

Full Friday testimony recap from Law & Crime

Point that stands out to me... the officer who found the knife said it had both blood & BONE evidence on it

They also probably believe our system is racist and rigged against them. Some people are just flat out stupid.

Let me say unequivocally... I'm not excluding the possibility of the family blowing the money... that is very possible (maybe even probable)

But... I'd like to bring other possible options

1) the sites where the money was raised haven't released the money & may even shut it down depending on the trial's result

2) any high priced defense lawyer who has seen the facts saw it was a losing case & lawyers (esp ones who want to continue charging a pretty penny for their services) don't like to lose... so they declined to take KA on as a client

I’ve been following the trial across multiple platforms and it seems like black people are as much victimhood, race-baiting and racist as ever. Like, there’s been no evolution in mindset in 30 years. As if black people aren’t found in higher education, employment, white collar executive level, law, medical, name it. Nope, they act like Jim Crow sharecroppers getting lynched weekly.

I believe stand your ground is in your home or vehicle? Not being somewhere you don’t belong then using a weapon. I’ll have to google that.

Race card is all they have. It sadly could cause a hung jury. That would not end it for Anthony, but it could make DA more willing to plea bargain.

The lawyer keeps trying to ask if Austin’s size could be intimidating and if Austin was standing while Anthony sitting to add to the intimidation effect. I am sure the additive of being black with a white intimidator will be implied at some point to make it even more reasonable ‘historically’ for a black kid to fear for his life in the situation.

First and foremost being intimidated does not justify using deadly force. I am not even sure it justifies using non-deadly force.

Second, by some accounts he ignored being asked or told to leave 15 times and by more of the Memorial team than just Austin. Today’s testimony brought up Anthony mouthing off to others that they would have to make him leave or wouldn’t do anything to make him leave. All this or even just refusing to leave another team’s area without saying anything doesn’t scream being intimidated. It can even be seen to make it more like he knew something advantageous for him in a fight that he knew the other larger person did not know about.

I think he was also fully aware that at a HS district sporting event with a lot coaches and staff from multiple local schools around including ones who also coached football any fight was going to be broken up before it went very far. There was also district staff and athletes from those multiple schools to break up a fight. It’s not like they were isolated with Anthony on his own. This can definitely be seen as another reason to not fear for his life, and it could cause some to get a little cocky and start shite knowing it wouldn’t get far which is the opposite of being intimidated in situation.

I mean, you stab someone in the chest?

I think the guys guilty but not sure that’s compelling in self defense vs aggression
