Do think that is only happening on X?
What most people are doing right now is remembering rumors that came out just after the murder, and I would guess are making the false assumption (in this case) that they just have not been brought up in court yet.
At the time the not supposed to be at the event actually went in both directions with Anthony’s group and supporters stating that while the victim was from that school he was not on track team or was not participating that day and should have been in team area. By their “logic” Austin had less of reason or right to be under the tent than Anthony.
Austin was a member of the track team, and yesterday we learned from his coach that he was made one of their leaders for the event which specifically help set up and look out for their area amongst other things.
I don’t know either’s participation status in the track events that day. Being a district event (district is made up of only high schools in FRISCOisd at the time) it could have been more limited than a regular event, but also being in Frisco also meant the rest of the team would likely attend outside of disciplinary or academic reasons.

This attitude that white people want harm to befall black people is the fault of the media.
It’s not dissimilar to how the KKK used to stir up poor white trash making them believe blacks were going to harm them and/or were the cause of their problems. It’s a favorite page of the Dem’s identity playbook. Make them all victims to their opposition, and then keep their focus on their “villain” instead of how much they don’t like each other or think that they are not getting as much as other groups in the Dem identity spectrum. If fighting starts amongst themselves then find something on Trump or white people to blow up out of proportion to redirect their focus.
Then why are the Dems still doing it?
I will include the part you left out in your quote which specifically described the Dem playbook part. They just flip or shift the “villain” based on make up of their identity coalition as needed. They used to push against illegals when labor unions were an important part of their coalition. They also used to love Jews and one of their current villains Israel. I remember when Obama, Hillary, and the most other Dems loved another recent villain, Russia, and even made jokes about people living in the past with outdated concerns on Russia.

Besides coaches and other staff there was at 2 resource officers present (1 actually on nearby middle school property but that used to be the high school with the stadium part of the high school campus with main entrance just across a narrow parking from the stadium). Cortez was one of them. Multiple witnesses state Anthony states the reason as he put his hands on me. So many adults around to help if a true fight had broken out.
quote:
Anthony appeared emotional in the video when telling Cortez, "He put his hands on me. I told him not to. He put his hands on me."
The prosecutor asked Cortez about whether he heard Anthony sobbing or crying during the arrest. Wirskye noted that once he got into the squad car he was, "cool, calm, and collected."
Cortez said, "Yes, sir."
In another officer's body camera video, Anthony can be heard telling officers, "I'm not alleged. I did it."
quote:
Cortez testified that Frisco ISD policy strictly prohibits weapons on school property.
Prosecutor Bill Wirskye asked Cortez if he would agree that a student bringing a knife to a school event was "unprecedented, never encountered."
Cortez responded, "Yes, sir."
quote:
They watched video from Officer Shalz's body camera as he came up on Metcalf getting chest compressions. In the video, Metcalf's brother can be heard hysterically crying and yelling, "He's my best friend. He's my brother."

A 17-yr-old Memorial High School student began testifying. He's on the track team and knew the Metcalf twins. He was under the tent with them on the day of the stabbing.
He testified that several teammates told Anthony, "You probably shouldn't be here. You need ot leave our tent." He said it became more aggressive. Anthony told Metcalf, "Touch me and find out." The student said no one tried to gang up or mob Anthony. He described it as "minor pushing at most."
The student told jurors that both Anthony and Metcalf were angry and aggressive. They originally calmly asked him to leave and as Anthony didn't, the situation got more aggressive.
"Who was provoking?" prosecutors asked.
"Karmelo Anthony," he replied.
"Did anyone gang up on Karmelo Anthony?" the prosecutor asked?
"No," the student replied.
Under cross-examination, the teen demonstrated to the defense how the deadly encounter went down. He said Metcalf, who was standing in front of Anthony, pushed Anthony with both hands on his shoulders. Anthony swayed back. His hand came out of his backpack. Anthony then leaned forward and stabbed Metcalf. He said he didn't see the knife.

Melo’s dumbass lawyers really need to try to get a deal before he’s sitting in prison until he’s 60

He has gone thru several lawyers. I am just guessing, but I think they found one who told them what they wanted to hear instead of what they needed to hear.

He will get a manslaughter conviction. 25 years wil be out on half of that. Not trying to argue but it’ll probably go that direction

Nah, Mellow's lawyer is smart enough to know all it takes is one person (many have posted in this thread already, BTW) to believe the lies and let the kid off. Even if he is "convicted", he won't serve longer than maybe 10 years and will be out of prison by 30 to terrorize and kill more people. Mark my words, KA wil be a progressive icon one day, the likes of OJ or Floyd. Once he is released from prison, he will be on TV shows like The View and hailed a hero for his deeds.
Normal people have lost the war. This will be another example of that loss.

Perfect example of the mindset that would set this murder free. Tens of millions of Americans are warped like this, unfortunately.

No one's serving 10 years for manslaughter these days. He'll be out in 2-3 years.

Sludge gets it.
Hate to admit this, but the reason Sludge gets it is because my mind was also warped for years by this sick ideology. If I can just save one person from this....lol
In all seriousness though, normal people don't get it at all. They have been in a "war" with their fellow Americans for nearly three decades now and they didn't know it. The last few years are really starting to wake people up. The vast majority of the progressive left are pure evil. Yeah, you have some "moderate" democrats out there. They are still real and exist (I am one of them) but the Democrat party has been taken over by literal demons. Another not-so-well-kept secret now is the Republican party is just controlled opposition. You aren't voting your way out of this. They are not going to stop any of this. They will talk about stopping it, but in the end, they are being paid off too.

A 16-year-old rising junior took the stand. He told jurors he was on the football team and track team. He said that even though Metcalf and his twin brother were older than him, he knew them from football and track.
He testified that on the morning of the deadly track meet, he helped set up the tent, which he called, "a home base for us." He remembered Anthony walking up and sitting under the tent.
"What did you think when he sat there," the prosecutor asked.
"I was questioning why he was here," the teen said.
He said he wondered if Anthony had friends there. He told jurors it's "weird" for students to come to other tents.
Once Anthony sat down, the teen said he heard Metcalf ask him why he was there.
He said Metcalf asked him multiple times to leave but he did not. Anthony said several times that he had something in his bag. The teen testified that the knife already had to be opened because there was no way he could have stabbed Metcalf that fast.
"Did either Austin or Karmelo get angry?" the state asked.
"Not angry but more frustrated," the teen said.
He said he didn’t know why it escalated so fast. He testified that Anthony got more aggressive the more he was asked to leave.
"Did it appear Austin wanted to fight?" the prosecutor asked.
"No," the teen said.
When asked why he thought Anthony was bluffing about having something in his bag, the teen said it was because, "I would never think someone would have a knife at a track meet."
"Was anyone on their feet because a fight was going to break out?" the state asked.
"No, sir," the teen replied.
"Would people be standing if they thought a fight was about to break out?" the prosecutor asked.
"Yes, sir, recording on cellphones," the teen said.
He described Anthony walking away. Then after a few steps he started jogging, then walking. "He was calm," the teen testified.
The teen said the altercation did not look like self-defense. He said Anthony was the aggressor and the one who provoked the fight.

At what point in the trial does the murderer claim he was called the N word by the deceased? You know they’re saving that card for when all else fails.

I doubt that will happen, but it won't upset me if it does.

Won't fly, too many witnesses... at least one of which is also black (and had to be restrained from going after Stabby).
