Tree jizz all over everything.

My allergies have been giving me hell in Wichita this year.
Part of the problem are those stupid fricking Bradford pear trees that all bloom at the same exact time and smell like fish vag. Those things give me fits.

I don't know about Louisiana but in Atlanta we hit an all time record over the weekend and it was noticeably worse than usual - yellow haze everywhere

That's means so much when we've had accurate pollen tracking for maybe a couple of decades.

I’ve dealt with (minor) sinus related issues my whole life
Ever since COVID, it’s been….. well, different… some seasons I don’t sniffle, some weeks are absolutely horrible.. I had a three month stretch last year where I couldn’t breathe out of my nose, followed by 6 months where I don’t think I sneezed one time. I’ve also noticed that people I’ve known for a long time who never had issues, having seasonal allergies like I used to
I’m not sure what’s going on (if anything at all), but it seems to me that things have been very different since COVID hit

Thanks for letting us know, we had no idea!

I mean it's like that every year baw! It's funny like the "it's going around" thing. Trees and flowers bloom. People get sick. Does it really need to be a small talk subject?

This time of the year I don’t even other detailing the inside of my truck. Only time my windows are cracked is when I’m parked somewhere. It’s a never ending battle with pollen.

The severity of pollen at a specific area may be due to lack of rain for a number of days. It’s been as bad as ever but doesn’t seem much worse than usual.

Nothing better than a heavy rain washing away all of the yellow devil covering everything. Like being reborn.
Then a day later it's all yellow again

Time to shut down society!

You should def write your congressman.
Or have your husband do it, since it'll mean more coming from a man.

Started in 1952 and gained traction in the 60s and 70s but let’s don’t let facts get in the way.

Not in Hammond. I actually have gone a whole week without a yellow haze on my truck. Rain helped last week and today wash the remainder off the trees.
Now that first rain a week ago looked like someone shot Big Bird at the end of my driveway.
