Its not like they just have to agree if she is guilty or not. They have to determine whether each child was first degree murder , 2nd degree murder, or manslaughter. Trying to get the entire jury to agree on that takes time

This one I just don’t get. She says she did it. Her defense lawyers say she did it (hence the push for not guilty by insanity or however it’s termed in Mass).
If they had any inkling that the husband did it, they would be focusing on that to create doubt to get her off all together IMO.

What you are witnessing is a country's and cultures failure to help people who suffer from mental illness, but instead try to normalize it and pretend that it's merely a unique character or personality difference kind of like some people are bubbly and friendly and some are introverted and shy.
I really do not think people understand what a serious problem this is. Or they are afraid of hurting someone's feeling by pointing out the obvious by calling it what it is.
All of this was no accident, you could not plan a better way to destroy a culture that what we are seeing.
