My wife said "When I see the posts on facebook, I feel like I have to be missing something about this case. So many comments support her and I don't understand it"

I’m sure some people would feed off of it, but most defense attorneys I know would have been uncomfortable. I would have been. I’m not here to be the voice of anyone other than my client. Making it into anything else is the fodder of laymen and self aggrandizing assholes.

What can possibly be their reasoning? That no mother would kill their own kids like that out of malice or evil, so therefore she is innocent because she must have been out of her mind?

Explain to your wife that what you see online is its own world.
