I make sure I have at least one LSU shirt and cap with me everywhere I have traveled. I have gotten a "Geaux Tigers" in Levorno, Italy, Rome, Amman Jordan along with a few others.

Unless you are a student abroad, or on a school related trip, or are on spring break traveling, is it trashy to wear college clothes? I understand white trash is gonna white trash, but if it's not football season, and a non-alum is in San Francisco sporting a [insert college here] sweatsuit and hat, it's trashy.

Carry your degree on you and nobody can make that assumption. Seems like an easy solution.

You think the OP is an LSU fan? Is that why he has UGA the bulldog as his avatar?

The only LSU gear to my name is some pajamas from 10 years ago, but are you really this insecure to have this kind of conversation?

Hell, some people think it's acceptable to wear college shirts and jackets as "Sunday Best." These same people think the same of Realtree and Mossy Oak though. Always thought it was a little trashy to see those in church with either.

I wear mine at or traveling to an actual game or to watch a game with friends at home or a bar. Rarely wear my colors otherwise.

As I read this in the ATL sky lounge wearing LSU gear, I wonder who's watching me.

Few other "trashy" people in the lounge from Bama, Ole piss, South Carolina, and Georgia as well.

By gear I mean a gray t-shirt and LSU croakies

The only thing I wont do is wear *2 college clothing items. For example; If I am wearing my UA shirt, I won't wear a hat or jacket, and if I have on my UA hat, then it's no shirt or jacket.

*This rule is not valid on gamedays.

DGAF
Never have GAF
Never will GAF

This is America. Wear what you want. As long as it doesn't have curse words, bigotry, or naked images on it in public, no one should GAF either.

I don't like to dress like a super fan, but I do not care at all what other people wear. If someone wants to wear a shirt of their favorite college team, then they have the freedom to wear it.

Every time I have worn a LSU hat outside of Louisiana, I ended up having conversations with people about football.

One time I was in Orange Beach.. I think I was at LuLu's.. I went to the bar to get another beer and there was an Auburn fan sitting near where I was. He told the bartender to put the drink on his tab then started talking about how he couldn't wait for football. I offered to buy the next drink, he wouldn't let me.. He ended up buying 2 or 3 beers as we talked football... But I had to get back to my party..

One time in Las Vegas, I was at a texas holdem table with Chris Rose (sports guy who use to work for Fox, I think he is with ABC now). Some girl at the table told me she liked my hat and that her boyfriend thought LSU was a really good team. Chris Rose then started telling me about how passionate he thought LSU fans were because of the emails he would receive from LSU fans.

One time at the Los Angeles airport, some dude working there had a Florida lanyard on. He was a bitch about it. He told me "so you a LSU fan hun? You see who I represent huh? If yall don't lose before playing us, yall will have a lose after yall play us". I just told him "glad to see you have confidence in your team". We ended up beating Florida that year.
