Absolutely... or in the dance world... where the only score at a tournament are "platinum" and "double platinum" and we won several competitions where we were the only team entered because there are 466373 different categories.

At least for her Christmas production they sell alcohol. They don’t sell alcohol for these summer recitals for some reason.

A simple google search will find hundreds of college and professional coaches, with videos and articles stating how horrible an idea it is for a kid at that age to focus on one sport.

I’ve got two friends who each have a 10 year old. They both play travel ball and both got a World Series ring last year. Yet they didn’t even play each other. Same town. It’s really dumb.

I love tournament ball. Our rec league is a joke. (Volunteer) Coach who don’t know shite has his kid on shortstop but can’t even throw to first. kids don’t learn anything, he’ll they don’t even practice anymore when games start.
