Our travel ball weekend got exciting. We were in open class, but the C class had a throw down with the umpire.
Coach was out of line arguing a call, instead of throwing him out the ump got pissed. They got in each other's face, then some big ol baw holding the umpire back pulled him to the ground and sat on him. Finally let him up, and he started spouting racism and such. Then stormed out the park and was promptly arrested.
Guess the ump had enough of getting yelled at all day

Unless you have someone who can get you on Squire Creek
Trail's End Golf Course in Arcadia is a nice course, it's probably 25 minutes from Ruston and open to the public. It's a tough tract
or
Lake D'Arbonne Country Club in Farmerville (I love this course)
it's about 30 minutes
neither are usually very busy

was at traction last night and in the 13U championship game, the RF made 3-4 errors in the first two innings and his dad screamed from the bleachers "jesus christ, get him out of there now please, for the love god"

Minor league mentality generates minor league results.
Hope you have fun watching Jaxxsyn with the Savannah Bananas.

It’s called sacrificing for your kids to do what they enjoy.
Not all people are die hard blow hard “travel ball” types..and tbh, most aren’t.
They want their kids involved in extracurricular activities, kids like baseball= win/win.
For all the parents that actually played sports- we are jealous!
Pristine turf fields, multiple uniforms, hanging out with friends all weekend, a couple hotel trips along the same…
Fun times!

The most important thing is did he get that coveted ring?
What do you think this is, just hoping for a lucky box of Cracker Jacks?
They play for World Championship Belts in places like Mobile, Sulphur, Bossier City, and Beaumont.

this is beta. You want dem rings at the Nationals? By 11 years old our pitching coach was holding pitching practices where we were perfecting the curveball. These other team's young baws never stood a chance when our guys were throwing 1800 rpm curveballs. We looked like Tom Brady after winning all those natty's

These threads kill me.
I laugh at these parents. Stop living through your kid and just let them have fun. If they are made for the sport it will happen no matter what.
I say this as a parent whose child just got signed to a D1 program last week for a dance team. And before y'all try to shite on dance...don't that shite is UNBELIEVABLY competitive, and hardcore. They ALL recruit now like any other D1 sport.
