Travel Ball practice on Christmas day?

What time is acceptable to let parents and kids finish opening their gifts and what not before taking the field? I think 10am is reasonable but apparently some don't feel that way.

10 AM is fine. If they dont show up they get cut.

Completely agree. I don't know many 6 year Olds that aren't up at the Crack of dawn to open presents. By 10 they are bored and half the toys are broken.

If I had a kid he wouldn't go to practice. And if that is a problem it wouldn't matter, because I would actually try to encourage him to play multiple sports and he can decide which one he wants to continue playing.. Because travel ball is more for the dads who are wanting to live through their kids.

You've got the wrong attitude from the get go.
Christmas morning practice at 7 AM sharp. They can open their presents after they've put in their work for the day.
