…so he can relax and not have to do shite.

What is it with skilled labor always thinking if they get an ‘office gig’ they’re basically retired? Cousin ‘shift worker’ agreed with him saying once he turns 35, he going to try to get one of ‘those kush day jobs’.

A few more beers and I’m going to ask them to go update my 5 year capex plan and current project accruals.

Everyone always thinks the grass is greener. I went from the field to a job that spends more time in the office and I can tell you they both have pros and cons. Being in the office is less physically draining but way more mentally draining.

I’m fortunate now that when I get tired of the office I can still get out and go out in the field for fresh air and clarity.

Uncle should have taught you to be more of a baw instead of letting you sit around with the women

Must be a sad existence having family members that don't have a trust fund and have to work

I can guarantee you my company would hire him. My job is basically to clean up after everyone- I get paid well for it, but good God some of our employees

Kush office jobs have their own level of absolute bullshite also. I have one and despite all the vacation, sick, flex days, benefits, lunches, etc. I want to move on. The only way to true freedom is having your own business and working for yourself. For me, it'll be starting my own lawncare company within the next 3 years after my wife finishes her current contract.

If he's like me, he's not meant to work for other people and he'll hate the office job more than his labor job because the level of micromanagement will be like nothing he's ever experienced.

Don’t worry, that sucks too.

It’s a different kind of suck and possibly the least sucky, but still can suck.

Im not sure I understand the point of this thread. Yes, office jobs are typically easier on the day to day.
