I work way harder in the office than I did in the field. Different kind of work but still can be rough

I don’t think he literally means nothing. But when your working labor your whole life getting an office job is absolutely like retiring.

As a CPA, I can say that people never make these sorts of comments around me. They know they can't do what I do.

Physicality is not the only thing that makes a job “hard”.

And hell yes office jobs can make you tired, stressed, and exhausted. I make difficult decisions everyday that involve very large sums of money and often have to basically take money out of my coworkers pockets when I decide the deal isn’t going to happen.

I don’t expect sympathy as I’m compensated fairly but it’s not “easy”, despite the fact that I actually don’t really have a tangible work product in a traditional sense

Just ask him the difference between hlookup and vlookup
