These people want to be accepted as whatever they identify as. The problem is that they get very upset when others are not attracted to them or willing to date them.
I've read stories about transgendered men being upset that straight men don't want to date what is essentially a man in girls clothing. Some of the campus SJW groups have actually advocated for these people by wanting student populations to be vetted for openness to dating all types of people.
It's sad because they are trying to get people to shift things in their thinking by going completely against their biology. If you want me to let you be you, then you have to let me be me.
