There was actually a thread a few months ago linking to a lesbian website talking about the controversy within the lesbian community.
Lesbians (women) were refusing to date trans lesbians (men). The website made it out as a big deal these men couldn't get dates with lesbians.

yes you don't have to change your sexual organs to identify as a different gender (but you can)
