Weird place, weird employees, weird music and weird customers. They have nice flowers and produce by not worth being around the crowd. Tried to buy a bag of rice. Not possible. A grocery store in LA and no rice? Forget that. Never went back. They were VERY COVID compliant. Not my kind of place.

Why is the Shite Hole the only State in the Southern USA without a Buc-ees?

I've had access to TJs in various places for the past 25 years and I honestly don't get the fascination with this place.

Trader Joe's is Aldi. It is Aldi Nord. They are split ,but the same family. The brothers couldn't get along apparently. Aldi Nord brought out Trader Joe's and kept the name in the US market. The Aldi in the states has the Aldi Süd logo which is different from the Aldi Nord logo.

I like Publix and would love one

They're okay, but a bit expensive.
A new one opened near me, just a bit later, a new Aldi's opened right down the street from them.
I've done some comparisons on a few things where both stores carry the exact same items. Publix is more expensive by 25% or more.

Of course, Publix carries some things that you aren't going to be able to buy at Aldi's, or any place else.

Isn’t HEB supposed to be a cheap grocery store? They have a store in Beaumont in a run down area.

The nicer the neighborhood, the nicer the H-E-B. Also they have older stores like the one in Beaumont.

Hell, you could throw in Albertson's and Aldi, too.
