They just proved, once again, that companies that go woke also go broke!

You don't think the zeitgeist moves cyclically?

You ever hear the phrase "History always repeats itself"?

Probably not because of the post.
Probably because of your annoying arse.

That’s the point. If you are a football fan your options are very limited if you want to consume that product. Giving it up isn’t a “small sacrifice” because it essentially requires not consuming the product at all as opposed to just buying it elsewhere
I gave it up as a 23 year season ticket holder and fan since 1977.

Which brings us back to my original point. If you don’t have a unique or significantly better (such as professional football, baseball, etc) it is very easy for customers to avoid you because they can get the same thing elsewhere. So don’t give them a reason to
But it isn't happening often enough.

More and more businesses are questioning the McKinsey studies showing improved profit for DEI initiatives.

Harvard Business Review just had a case study where they went in depth about about bud light lost 30%+ of revenue from DEI and however many Billions of their market cap.

Funny how these pie in the sky ideas eventually hit reality because their stakeholders declined to do their due diligence.

This is fake news regarding the stock price...the stock hit an all time high and then dropped and retraced to support and bounced. Thanks for posting though I'll add some Jan 300c.

For the record. I'm extremely conservative and can't stand identity politics, DEI or the alphabet group. I just trade and want to point out why price did what it did. Actually seems like algos wanted to grab liquidity under 262.5 and will probably send it to 300$ before Thanksgiving.

Don't bring your facts in here, they are going for their victory lap for their massive win over woke culture

You mean the same people who bitch about "cancel culture"? Surely not.

Why would Tractor Supply do anything with the TN Pride Chamber. How does that help their bottom line in any way?

You can guarantee this whole nonsense was concocted by some white suburban woman marketing executive who wouldn’t know a tractor if it ran her over. She should be fired yesterday.

JC Penney went woke but fired the CEO and repented so we forgave.
Bud Lite went woke and failed to repent so we walked away from them. They have become a stench in our nostrils and can just go broke before we will buy anything from their product line.
Tractor Supply was found to be woke and has sort of repented - although the CEO is still in place...

I find it odd when companies decide to “celebrate” people’s personal sexual fetishes, as though it’s some sort of accomplishment. Imagine if AT&T decided to celebrate BDSM or GM decided to celebrate foot fetishism. It’s just weird.

Where was I defending the LGBTQ community?

They are such a small minority just like most the posters here anti woke sentiment, that they are noise to the bottom line.

Funny to see both sides arguing the same points as the other side
