I was saying Jesus Christ because of the absurdity of your claim.

What that the batteries will need to be replaced before then? Let's see some stats. Prove me wrong

This might have been a valid criticism on the Gen 1 Prius. Battery failure is basically not a thing anymore.

The battery won’t have as much juice after 150k miles, but the car will still work just like everything else on the road.

If you drive both a conventional and hybrid car for 160,000 miles

Dude!!!!!!! How many people drve a conventional car for 160,000 miles????? Before they trade for a newer more energy efficient vehicle? We've owned 15 cars in our lifetime, and 140,000 is the most we've ever put on a car. The rest were gone shortly after getting to 100,000.

Let's not even get into the fact that 160,000 happens to be the suggested time for a replacement battery. So if you factor in the production of a 2nd battery, then a hybrid won't be any more efficient, once the battery is replaced.

And what happens to the trade? Some kid scoops it up for cheap and uses it to deliver door dash.

I sold a 2007 Silverado with 225,000 Miles. It’s still tooling around Baton Rouge 4 years later.

You can replace an individual bad battery cell in the Prius. You can buy the battery cell for $30-40 on ebay.

The official vehicle of libtards and pussies.

I’d rather walk than drive that abomination. Give me a regular Civic over that ugly thing. I’ll gladly take the 8mpg hit.

A lot of people. And it doesn't just have to be the original owner. Do some of yall even think before posting?

I really don't understand the total move away from Sedans by car companies. I don't think its going to last. Maybe its not hard to move back I don't know? But gas prices will bump up again and SUV's will go out of style.

Not really the case anymore like it was in the mid 2000s.

The mpg delta back then was huge with SUVs getting like 50% or less mpg versus cars.

Today a midsize crossover can still get 80-90% of the mpg of a sedan with all the practicality benefits of an suv.

The situation that led to suvs getting hammered when gas rose no longer exists.

Eh, I mean maybe. I think cheaper gas has more to play here than MPGs. A Rav4 for example gets 23/30 mpg. That's not anywhere close and still closer to 50% of some of the 4 banger sedans. Plenty of sedans can get 40s now.

When I see someone driving a Prius, I automatically assume that they are a giant douche. May not be fair, but every one I see is decked out in political stickers.
