We are looking into buying another vehicle but don't want to spend 70K on another Yukon. Kids are older and we don't need all of the extra room any longer. Any advice / reviews from any owners (yes I know it's the O-T) ? Only negative I've seen so far is that it drives like a truck, but it's supposed to. Dependability and hold of value are its biggest selling points to me.

Well run down there and get you one then. They hold value really well and they're extremely dependable

Do you own one ? Only concern is if it drives like a Honda Passport, truck chassis the wife can handle, a ride like the Passport is a deal breaker. I know you can test drive but I rather know from those that drive one on a daily basis.

No real negatives, gas could be enter but not horrible. I average 18mpg, 23 on Interstate when kept around 75mph.

Everyone will recommend the Trail or TRD Pro, but it's overkill for DD.

They're hideous but well made. That's what I'll say in every 4Runner thread.

They are great for driving on the road, very dependable, they do rollover pretty easily though. Don;t go into curves too fast. I guess that stands for any of the late model Japanese SUVs though.

I don't find the ride to be too bad. About to get my wife one.

Great vehicle. I went with a TRD Pro, but if I were doing it again, I'd go for the Trail Premium. If you know you'll leave it stock the TRD Pro is a great choice though.

I still have an 04 limited that runs like a champ. I love that vehicle. It's not my daily driver but it's such a good vehicle, I can't bring myself to get rid of it.

Solid truck, nav system isn't that great, 17 mpg at best, decent ride not as nice as it should be for the price.

Thanks for all the responses. They're nearly all positive and of course, "the wife", LOL. Our 2009 Yukon Denali has a lower resale value than an 09 4 Runner. Looks like a 4 Runner it is.

I've got the Trail Premium. Love it. It's on the small side for an SUV, but drives and rides nice. No complaints here.

Road to OB in one last weekend, that ride in the back seat was horrible. I felt every bump on the 250 mile trip.

Unless you also regularly use your SUV for towing or off-roading, there are much better options in the SUV/crossover market.

Look into the new Mazda CX-9 or even the Highlander if you want to stick with a Toyota.

Averaging 19.5 mpg. I'm 6'1 and it's a little tight getting in and out under the steering wheel. I'd rather not have black carpet and dash but you don't have a choice.
I pulled a 10' trailer with golf cart and it did ok but wouldn't do it on a long trip or on a regular basis.
You have decent storage with the middle seats down but not without.
I like the firm ride and it has plenty of power.
