Did KALB forget about the tornado that just hit woodworth? is that one over?
not following it??
they're still following it... it's starting to get into the far eastern reaches of their DMA so they're going to move on away from that cell once it actually does leave the area
it's just that other things are really starting to pop now too

I like how there were a few minutes where the actual circulation wasn't in the tornado warning polygon.

Nick Mikulus was just live streaming. It went right down Robinson Ridge road and knocked down trees everywhere. While he was talking to an official we heard them discuss possible houses destroyed near Indian Creek.
When we got the warning in Forest Hill, it looked like it was coming right for my vicinity. I made the decision to get out and went down to Cheneyville.
Came back after the danger had past and thankfully I missed it by a couple of miles. Hearing now on KALB significant damage LSUA campus.

This cell has to be getting close to going 300 miles right?

I will be surprised if there isn't significant damage in many spots along this storm's path. The way it cycled was like a skipping stone.

as a former LSUA employee... I just talked to another athletics department member...
he's on campus... says campus in general is fine
but it looks like the tornado hit the evacuation center that's a stone's throw from the residential building... and some livestock barns were also hit
from my source's report... there is NO damage to actual learning buildings on LSUA's campus

Someone asked last week how my family in Laurel got out before it hit. It went just like you said for them.
