I’m guessing that’s the reason for early release?

I swear this has only come about in the last few years. If a tornado touches down in the DFW area, the East Dallas suburb of Shreveport starts shuttering the windows.

It’s been since a tornado touched down somewhere - can’t remember where - during release and caused major damage and lost lives.

It really got started when kids at a HS in Enterprise, AL died when the school got hit with a tornado near release.

But, the other part of it is tbe forecasting has gotten good enough to spot these high potential days but not good enough to know if the potential will actually be reached.

Leads to a lot of abundance of caution.

I'm doing great! Thanks for asking.

I pretty much abandoned posting on TigerDroppings when it became a version of Reddit/Lite...the same people making the same troll/personal attack posts and threads ad nauseam.

I'm glad you're doing okay.

I’m so happy to hear from you and know you’re ok. I was super worried about you and your wife when you dropped off.

Yes, John is now 16 and is driving a brand new car. I’ll never sleep a full night again.

Tell you’re wife hello and don’t totally disappear. Missed seeing you

Which happened to coincide perfectly with LSU getting swept by Tennessee and the end of PM’s career who you couldn’t defend anymore knowing he was heading out.

Can we get a little technical discussion about this weather event?

Question: Barksdale bubble, real or circumstantial location?

The theory is that Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City has a weather machine to divert weather. I don't know why, maybe in case they need to send a nuke somewhere.

Anyways, I notice on storms just like this one, that a strong line develops in central TX and begins to approach LA. As it moves into East TX the onshore flow from the gulf begins to fire in Central LA. Vernon, Beauregard, Rapides, etc. All the way back to Houston...

The line of storms breaks just before Shreveport. The tail fizzles out and the part in Arkansas begins to connect to the central LA rain in the Jena to Bunkie corridor.

Machine, or geographical set up? What say you?

Some pics from Grapevine. Hit the Sam's Club behind my buddy's shop. Also took out a car wash, the Discount Tire and a Waffle restaurant
