Just to keep RadarScope honest, I'm still hunting around for Android alternatives. Any ideas?

Looking at that visible, thinking that relatively clear zone south of the boundary is where I'm going to start keeping an eye on. You know, instability wise.
I'll say this though, with the dynamics working here I'm damn glad it's February and not April.

Things are destabilizing pretty quickly, could be bad news for NE LA. However, maybe the increased CAPE will result in more storms than anticipated resulting in a messy storm mode.

No need really. They all draw from the same radar stations and Radarscope has all the toys you really could need.

Storm Chasers in N. MS could get in a bad spot with quickness today. There are roads flooded all over the place. That escape route you thought you could take could be a dead end.

These storms are going to be flying along too. 50+ mph storm motion a pretty good bet today. SE chasing sucks in the best of times. Today isn't the best of times.

It seems to me that the Birmingham office, if that's who issues tornado watches, seems to be conservative in doling out watches.
Maybe I'm wrong and they're issued by one national group (the SPC?)

Watches are issued by the Storm Prediction Center. They will expand watches into Alabama as things progress eastward.
The local offices issue warnings and can take counties out of watches when the severe weather threat ends in those counties.

Weather channel is broadcasting from my hometown. It feels like storm weather outside. Like you said most of the I-22 corridor is flooded from the delta eastward with more on the way the county roads are impassable in Benton and Marshall counties.
